Poet and Spoken Word Artist
RESIDENCIES
I have been poet-in-residence in many places, including major cultural and heritage intuitions to scientific research centres, schools and festivals, train stations and conferences. I collaborate with organisations to devise engaging, impactful, and bespoke residencies for their audiences and stakeholders. Example activities include creative workshops, social media content, original writing and performances, and site-specific artistic interventions.

EDUCATION
I am a freelance creative writing educator with over ten years’ experience, I devise and teach lessons in schools, libraries, and Universities. I also regularly deliver poetry, spoken word, and slam sessions for The Poetry Society, First Story, and Apples and Snakes. I have previously led workshops and assemblies for equality and masculinity charity Beyond Equality, social mobility charity Future First, and social responsibility charity First Give. I am currently Poet-in-Residence at Charter School, Bermondsey.
WORKSHOPS
I design and facilitate creative and professional development workshops for organisations and their audiences. I engage the public in-person and online in cultural, science, and museum / heritage settings. I also work with organisations to upskill staff in their creativity and communication.

COMMISSIONS
As a poet, I am regularly commissioned to create work for page and stage – by organisations and individuals. I make contemporary work that is engaging, thoughtful, and responsive, with subjects including science and culture; history and place; wellbeing and personal experience; people and poetry. I am also available to write articles for magazines and journals.
CROWDSOURCED POETRY
I pioneered crowdsourced or community poetry: creating a piece made up of words collected from an audience in person or online. Previous work includes:
